The Current Exhibit in the
Off Broadway Gallery
You Are My Sunshine (April - June, 2024)
One-Artist
Show by Artist Emily Winkel
May,
2024
Most of Emily's artwork is completed in
watercolor, gouache or paastel using traditional
techniques with a more recent exploration into a
limited color palette as a means of creating a
cohesive look. Emily’s wish for her work is to
share a “pause” moment; A moment of
appreciation, gratitude, and sometimes awe of the
world around us. This can come through capturing a
memory with a portrait, finding those moments in
the garden, on the shores of Lake Michigan, or
anywhere you can “pause” and rest.
